Upgrading from BobCAD-CAM 2007 to BobCAD-CAM V22.

Following are the instructions for copying and the important files from BCC V2007 to BCC V22.

Only the important files such as Cutting Conditions, Taps files and Post Processors need to be copied.
All other files needed for the general program operation have already been installed to the appropriate directory.

1. Open the BobCAD-CAM 2007 folder:
    (…\Program Files\BobCAD-CAM\BobCAD-CAM 2007\)


2. Holding the Control key (CTRL), left click on the Milling Technology folder, Posts folder and System Files folder. This will select all of those folders. If there are any additional files or folders that need to be moved from this location, they can be selected at this time by left clicking on the file or folder.


3. While the CTRL key is still being held down, press the letter ‘C’ on the keyboard to Copy the selected folders.


4. Next open the BobCAD-CM V22 folder:
    (…\Program Files\BobCAD-CAM\BobCAD-CAM V22\).


5. With the above folder open, click on the Edit menu and then left click on Paste. The files and folders will be copied into this directory.


6. Then close the folder.


7. To uninstall the BobCAD-CAM 2007 program:



a.) Click on the Start button and select the Control Panel option.




b.) Double click on Add/Remove Programs. A dialog will open populated with the programs that are currently installed on the computer.




c.) Select the BobCAD-CAM 2007 item in the list. Buttons will appear for the user to select.




d.) Click on the Remove button and follow the on-screen prompts to remove the BobCAD-CAM 2007 program.
